Our family camping trip to Nimisila Reservoir started with big plans and ended with unexpected memories. We explored the campground, played games, tried to watch a movie, and battled heat, bugs, and storms. Teddy caught nine fish, Kaiden learned knots, and I fell into the lake. It wasn’t perfect, but it was real — and that’s what makes it worth sharing. Here’s what went right, what went wrong, and why we’ll definitely be back (just not in July).
